Artist Rolando Diaz to close benefit show with autographs, reception

Thursday, March 8, Cuban-American artist Rolando Diaz will be the featured guest at a reception at the Virginia Shore Art Gallery at Abilene Christian University to close "Colors of Honduras," an art exhibit which benefits Bridges to the World, a non-profit Christian organization dedicated to holistic ministry in Latin America.

Diaz will be present from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. He will autograph exhibit available for $20 each. All proceeds from sales will benefit the construction of a day care center in the city of San Pedro Sula, Honduras. 

"Many ACU and Abilene area individuals will travel to Honduras this summer to construct this facility," said Jack Walker, executive director of Bridges to the World.
