Lyric soprano to perform at ACU
For Immediate Release Feb. 23, 2001 For more information contact: Carmen Diaz Walker will perform with Cheryl Lemmons at Abilene Christian University Thursday, March 1, at 8 p.m. in Cullen Auditorium on the ACU campus. Walker is a lyric soprano and assistant professor of voice at Del Mar College is Corpus Christi. Lemmons is a pianist and instructor of music at ACU. The recital will feature Spanish romantic boleros, folk songs and classical art songs as well as songs from Spanish operettas. English translations of songs will be provided on the program.
