Abilene Christian University's TRIO Program officials WHAT: TRIO Day Luncheon WHY: The TRIO Day Luncheon at ACU is designed to celebrate the success and accomplishments of students involved in ACU's TRIO Program. The TRIO Program consists of three government-funded programs all generally designed to help first-generation college students with economic disadvantages to earn a college degree. The three programs include: Alpha Academic Services, geared to assist students with disabilities Upward Bound, geared to help high students who have the desire to go to college McNair Scholars Program, geared to help students accomplish postgraduate degrees.
