
ACU students win broadcast competition awards
For Immediate Release Dec. 6, 2000 Contact: Tom Craig, Director of Media and Community Relations Abilene Christian University students submitted six entries in the regional National Broadcasting Society conference and took home three awards. This year's winners are:
This is the second year ACU has been eligible to compete in the regional competition. The ACU chapter of NBS started in 1998, but NBS requires a one-year probationary period before new chapters are allowed to compete. At last year's regional competition, Walker won an award for "On the Ball" and two other ACU students placed in the top three.
