
Officials to break ground for new performing arts center at ACU
Media Advisory Oct. 9, 2000 WHO: ACU officials including Dr. Royce Money, ACU president. Don and Judy Williams: Don is a Dallas businessman and ACU board of trustees member. He and his wife, Judy, are major donors for this project. The building will be named for them. WHAT: Groundbreaking for Williams Performing Arts Center. WHERE: Southeast corner of ACU campus: A tent will be set up for groundbreaking festivities south of Teague Boulevard, the main entry to campus from Judge Ely Boulevard. WHEN: 11:45 a.m., Friday, Oct. 13, 2000 WHY: As a three-year fund-raising campaign draws to an end, money has now been raised to construct the Williams Performing Arts Center, making the Oct. 13 groundbreaking possible.
