ACU carnival part of Homecoming activities
For Immediate Release Oct. 9, 2000 Contact: Tom Craig, Director of Media and Community Relations The Abilene Christian University Homecoming carnival is slated for Friday, Oct. 13, from 5-8 p.m. in the central mall area surrounding the GATA Fountain on the ACU campus. Activities for the carnival include a pep rally, fair-style foods and giant inflatable games for all ages. The pep rally will feature Willie the Wildcat, ACU cheerleaders, the Big Purple Band and the ACU Wildcat football team. Seven different inflatable games will be set up, including a 28-foot climbing mountain, a bungee run, a giant super slide, a candy house and a train.
