To help the Food Bank of Abilene and in celebration of the newest Veggie Tales video release, Abilene Educational Supply will hold a premiere party on Saturday, Sept. 30.

AES will show the new video Esther, The Girl Who Became Queen!, at 11:00 a.m. and again at 1:00 p.m. Admission to the in-store premiere is one can of vegetables or a $1 donation to the food bank.

AES is located at 1658 Campus Court, across the street from Abilene Christian University.

Party plans include children's activities before and after each showing, free popcorn and drinks from ACU Dining Services and Veggie Tales door prizes from AES.

Veggie Tales is a kid-focused, animated video series using fruit and vegetable characters to teach moral lessons. Esther, the 14th video in the Veggie Tales series, is based on the Biblical story.

While many stores offer Veggie Tales products, Esther will initially be a Christian bookstore exclusive. For more information on the video or Veggie Tales refer to the site www.bigidea.com.
