ACU Summer Workshops 2000

Abilene Christian University's annual Summer Workshops will be held July 23-26 on the ACU campus.
Summer Workshops include the Bible Teachers Workshop, Elders and Church Leaders Workshop, Equipping Women for Ministry Workshop and Church Secretaries Workshop.
The Bible Teachers Workshop features teachers from across the country presenting classes for teachers of every age level, from infants to adults. Classes are at 8:30 a.m., 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
The Elders and Church Leaders Workshop will be held July 24-26 in the Biblical Studies Building, Room 14. The topics for the three days are mentoring for the future, creating productive Elders' meetings and tips for Elders. Classes are at 8:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
The Equipping Women for Ministry Workshop incorporates the Church Secretaries Workshop this year and will be held July 24-26.
Participants may choose any of the one-day workshops or the three-day workshop to attend. Each class session presents new material and encourages active participation. Classes are at 9:45 a.m., 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
A special "Honoring Sisters of Service" luncheon will be held at noon Tuesday, Jule 25, in the East Cafeteria of the McGlothlin Campus Center to honor several Christian women who have spent years in Godly service and exemplary discipline. The cost is $8 per person, and the ticket deadline is 5 p.m. Monday, July 24. Tickets will be sold Sunday and Monday until 5 p.m. in the McGlothin Campus Center.
All four workshops will come together for worship at 7 p.m. in Moody Coliseum and devotionals at 9 p.m. in the Beauchamp Amphitheatre.
Childcare will be provided for children 2 to 9 years of age. The charge is $4 per child/per session.
Registration is $20 per person and will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 23, in the McGlothlin Campus Center. The fee is the same whether you register for one class or the entire workshop. You may attend more than one workshop or any combination.
