
ACU to increase power of television station
For Immediate Release Feb. 22, 2000 Abilene Christian University received permission to increase the power of their cable television station. The station received permission from the FCC to increase the power from the present 85 watts to 1,000 watts. "We are purchasing a new transmitter and antenna which should be here in April," said Larry Bradshaw, faculty adviser of KUF-TV7 and professor of journalism and mass communication. "It should give us a great signal throughout the city and 10-15 miles beyond."
