Randy Harris, ACU Bible instructor and spiritual director for the College of Biblical Studies and the Siburt Institute, is set to tackle an important question facing 21st-century ministers, elders and other church leaders at our upcoming lunch and learn event: “Does the Church Matter?”
Harris will offer his insights and perspectives on the ever-changing attitudes toward the church in a world and at a time when the church and ministers do not hold the highest spots on the go-to list for addressing moral and spiritual decisions. When young people and some not-so-young people are parting ways with the church in record numbers, church leaders are challenged with the question: “Does the church really matter?”
Register today for the session at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29, in ACU’s Hunter Welcome Center. Ministers, church staff and elders are invited to participate. The cost is $15 per person, and the deadline to secure your seat is Aug. 22.
