Jody Reese received a Change the World Award in chapel on Feb. 20, 2001.

Jody Reese ('76) was named the Abilene Independent School District's Elementary Teacher of the Year for 1999-00. A kindergarten teacher at nearby Taylor Elementary School, she serves as a role model for young students as well as other teachers. Twenty-one of her kindergarteners were on hand Feb. 20 to see her honored by her alma mater. Jody Reese is shaping young minds and changing the world one child at a time.
