Thank you for your interest in joining the Residence Life team. We employ students in three positions.
Desk Managers work in each of our 11 residence halls from 1pm-5am on most days. This is primarily a costumer service role. However, Desk Managers also receive emergency response training. Desk Managers are hired each semester as needed.
Resident Community Leaders (RCL), formally known as Resident Assistants (RA), live on the hall with residents in a private room. Room is provided and RCLs are paid an hourly rate. This is a competitive leadership position on campus given to Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors. RCLs plan hall activities and meet the needs of residents on their hall, as well as, participate as an integral member on their hall staff.
The 2017-2018 Resident Community Leader Application will open on November 28, 2016 and close on January 20, 2017.
In order to apply, attendance to an Interest Meeting is REQUIRED. Interest Meeting dates and times are below. All meetings will be located in the Dillard Hall classroom on the 2nd Floor.

Senior Community Leader
Senior Community Leaders (SCL), formally known as Assistant Directors (AD), serve in each residence hall and live in a private room or apartment. Room is provided and SCLs are paid an hourly rate. This is a competitive leadership position beyond the RCL role. However, previous RCL experience is not required. This position is given to Juniors, Seniors and Graduate Students. SCLs assistant the Resident Director or Area Coordinator in mentoring and leading the team of RCLs and fulfilling administrative tasks.
The 2017-2018 Senior Community Leader Application will open October 31, 2016 and close on November 18, 2016.
