Sheila Ritchie has an academic advisor since 2016 and works with Communication Disorders, Composite Interdisciplinary, Liberal Studies, and Undeclared students. Additionally, she works with Bridge Scholars. Though the addition of this role had been recent, she has been an Adjunct Professor for the Department of Communication at ACU since 1994. Sheila is passionate about academic success. In addition to teaching ACU students for the past 23 years, she also home educated all four of her children. Her oldest children, Levi and Rachel, graduated from ACU in 2015 and are pursuing Master’s degrees at other institutions. Lexi is a Sophomore at ACU, majoring in Management and Marketing, with a Pre-Law concentration. Her youngest daughter, Rebecca, is a Junior in High School and will be attending ACU soon. Sheila adores sharing her life with her husband Matt, who is a practicing Attorney and Mediator in Abilene, and loves all things “family.”
