Lindsey Griffis is the academic advisor for Child and Family Services and Teacher Education. She is a Texas Tech graduate holding a B.S. in Human Sciences, with focuses in Addiction and Recovery Sciences and Human Development and Family Studies. Although she is newer to ACU, she was born and raised in Abilene and loves calling this town home. Lindsey’s favorite part of advising is getting to know students and witnessing their unique journey through college.

Lindsey and her husband, Austin, stay busy with their baby girl, Emberlee Joy, and two precious fur babies, Shiner and Rylee. Aside from being an advisor, Lindsey loves being a mom and all the joys and trials that come with it. She also enjoys live music, a good Netflix show, and cooking for her family and friends.
