Karen Viertel is the academic advisor for all Management majors in the College of Business. She has worked as a business advisor for the past 13 years at ACU. She has two grown children that were ACU-COBA grads. She adores her three red-headed grandsons and she will be thrilled to brag about them and share pictures, given the opportunity. Karen and her husband Mark live outside of Abilene and are the 5th generation to raise cattle on their 130-year old ranch. She LOVES her family, church and do-it-yourself projects of all kinds. Don't stand still too long or Karen will somehow "shabby-chic" you! Karen holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Lubbock Christian College.
