Grant Overman is the Academic Advisor for Engineering, Physics, and Psychology. Grant is an immigrant to the state of Texas from Atlanta, Georgia, and earned his B.S. in Psychology from ACU, as well as a Specialist degree in School Psychology from ACU. He has worked in special education in Texas public schools and international admissions for ACU. His wife, Michelle Overman, is also an ACU graduate and works as a Marriage and Family Therapist for the ACU Medical and Counseling Care Clinic, indicating she should have known better when they were dating. Grant has a toddler, Zachary, whose interests include flags, Moana and climbing everything in the house.

Grant enjoys reading, cooking, board games, telling stories, learning new things, watching his favorite sports teams lose in spectacular fashion, and making people laugh with mildly sarcastic biographical information.
