Computer Support Policy
Faculty and Staff
Technology Support only supports computers that are purchased through Information Technology. Machines purchased under the Computer Replacement Program will be supported until they are replaced. They then must be removed from campus and sold at auction. They must not be returned to the campus for ACU business purposes.
Computers approved by IT but purchased outside of the Computer Replacement Program will be supported only while under warranty. When out of warranty, they should be removed from campus and sold at auction.
After a period of three years, resource expenditures become greater than the value of the asset.
