Giving to the School of Social Work

Departmentally Designated Gifts

Making a designated gift to the Abilene Christian University School of Social Work enables the School to do a number of things not possible within the operating budget, such as:

  • Providing travel funds for students and faculty to present research at regional and national professional social work meetings
  • Providing funds for scholarships and graduate assistantships for students
  • Supporting new initiatives that present themselves to the school, and that require “start-up” funding
  • Securing special learning resources that fall outside routine funding

You can give a designated gift to the School of Social Work by going to the ACU Advancement Office webpage and chose “Other gift designation not listed.” Then specify “The ACU School of Social Work” in the box below.

William L. “Bill” Culp Endowed Lecture Series

The ACU School of Social Work, with the assistance and support of ACU’s Advancement Office, has created an endowed lecture series honoring Emeritus Associate Professor Bill Culp.  The Culp Endowment establishes an annual speaker series that features leaders in the social work profession, hosted by the School of Social Work.

You can give to this fund by going to the ACU Advancement Office webpage and selecting the “William 'Bill' Culp Endowed Lecture Series" from the drop-down menu of gift designations.
