Student Support Services (SSS)

SSS serves 190 students each year with such services as individualized tutoring; personal, academic and career coaching; or assistance in applying for financial aid.

Enrollment in this federally funded program is limited to undergraduates who meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • A first-generation college student (parents or guardian did not graduate from a four-year college or university)
  • Economically qualified (guidelines set annually by the U.S. Department of Education)
  • A student with a disability (a physical or learning disability that requires accommodation in instructional a assessment methods)
  • In addition to meeting one or more of these criteria, you must demonstrate a need for academic assistance.
