Meet the Dean

Jaime Goff, PhD, LMFT, LPC.

Dr. Jaime Goff is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas as well as an AAMFT-Approved Supervisor. Jaime currently serves as the Dean of the College of Graduate and Professional Studies at Abilene Christian University after teaching for 11 years in ACU’s residential MFT program.

Jaime received her Bachelor of Science in psychology and her Bachelor of Arts in biblical text from Ohio Valley University and her Master of Marriage and Family Therapy from ACU. She completed her Ph.D. in MFT at Michigan State University. She also holds a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching at Southern Methodist University.

Jaime is highly involved in the marriage and family therapy profession as former Co-Chair of the Marriage and Family Therapy Education committee of the Texas Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. It was in this role that she first began providing exam preparation to MFT students in Texas and across the country. Jaime is currently Chair Elect of the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education.

Jaime’s partner, Eric, is a CPA, and they live in Dallas, Texas, with their dog Ursa and their two cats, Oscar and Cassie.
