Jim Lindsey signed to play football at ACU in 1967 and graduated from ACU in 1971. Having broken every school passing and total offense record up to 1971, Lindsey was one of the most decorated players in ACU football history. 

His 8,521 career passing yards rank first in ACU history, second in the Southland Conference and 13th All-Time in NCAA Division II.  Lindsey was inducted into the ACU Sports Hall of Fame in 1987.

Lindsey and his wife, Susan ('71), had three daughters: Lauri Rogers ('91), Melissa ('99), and Jamie.  Jim died in 1998.
