C.E. "Doc" Cornutt

C.E. "Doc" Cornutt earned a B.S. in business administration from ACU in 1971.  As a student Cornutt was active in the Student Senate and Advisory Board, president of the Business Club and was vice president of Frater Sodalis men's social club. 

Cornutt was appointed to the university's Board of Trustees in 1989, and he has served as chair of the Public Relations and Development Committee as well as serving as chairman of the College of Business Advisory Board.  He is also currently the co-chair of the university's Centennial Campaign.   

Cornutt currently serves as chairman and CEO of Argent Property Company, an organization he formed in 1997 in partnership with an affiliate of Hunt Realty Corporation.  He is a board member for both Goodwill Industries and the Dallas Summer Musicals and has served on the Dallas Chamber of Commerce Strategic Issues committee and the Leadership Dallas program.

He is now an elder at the Skillman Avenue Church of Christ in Dallas and he and his wife, Sue Core ('70) have three children: Sara ('99), Chris ('01) and Shelly.
