Dr. Bill Humble joined the ACU faculty in 1964 as an associate professor of Bible. He later served as vice president for academic affairs and chairman of the Bible department. Later, Humble was appointed chairman of ACU’s graduate Bible ministry department.
He also served as director of the Center for Restoration Studies and as an active researcher and historian.
In 1989, Humble received the Outstanding Faculty Member of the Year Award for the College of Biblical Studies.
He and his wife, Geraldine ('48), have two children: Eric ('72) and Rebecca Liles ('74).
