I love ACU because ...

1997 - It is a magic place. It is the only place in the world on which the sun is always shining. I remember one day it was raining everywhere in the city of Abilene but above ACU, the sky had opened up and the sun still shone down on the chapel on the hill. I remember thinking,"God finds favour with this place." People were always smiling, it was a place where people really cared. It was a place that I took for granted while I was there, but once I left, I have never felt that loved, accepted and warm as I did there. It is a place that rejuvenates the mind, the spirit and the body and even now, in England, I cannot wait for the day that I can return to this wonderful place.
