Garage Building

Garage Building
The garage building, (bottom center) was  located southwest of Bennett Gymnasium (right) and east of the Chemistry Building (left), circa 1937-38. Photo courtesy of ACU Creative Services.

The Red Bath House was moved from the old campus to the new campus along with the temporary administration building and the Green Building.  The movers, J. R. Horn and I. J. Lane, moved the building for $50.  The building was remodeled at a cost of $201.60.

The building was originally located due east of the men's residence hall (McDonald Hall) right next to Avenue F.  Sometime between 1934 and 1937 it was moved to the location indicated in

the photograph above.  The building probably housed the bus and truck and later the Print Shop.

The building does not appear in any photographs after late 1938.  It is assumed that it was razed when the utility building was completed in October 1938.
