The Abilene Heights addition created a campus of 1,000 feet (east - west) by 980 feet (north - south). This made a campus of almost 22.5 acres, substantially larger than the five acre campus on North 1st Street, but a far cry from the current campus.

In addition, Abilene Christian used 12 acres east of Bennett Gymnasium across Avenue F for athletic fields and tennis courts.

The new campus was bordered by East North 18th Street on the north, Avenue F on the east, East North 16th Street on the south and Campus Court on the west.

As can be seen from the map, the campus was laid out with the buildings balanced and centered on Campus Court and Washington Boulevard.  It is not known whether the engineer who laid out the Abilene Heights

addition, H. J. Bradshaw, laid out the campus or if it was Nichol & Campbell, the architects of the new buildings.
