Abstract Submission Guidelines

The conference seeks submissions of papers that present original research or reflection on the relationship between theological disciplines and other fields of knowledge within the context of a Christian university. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the relationship of theology or religion to the following areas:

  • Interdisciplinary teaching or research
  • Ecclesial communities
  • Pedagogical strategies
  • Cultural/Philosophical challenges
  • Justice
  • Literature
  • Public responsibility
  • Globalization
  • Values/morality
  • Spiritual formation

Proposals should not exceed 500 words and should include the paper title, a brief statement of its purpose, general arguments, and expected contribution to the goal of the conference. Proposals are due by November 4, 2005. The preferred form of submission is by e-mail attachment of a Microsoft Word document to the e-mail address given below, though hardcopy submissions via regular mail will also be accepted. Notification of acceptance will be given by November 15, 2005. Final papers should not exceed 5500 words, and will be due no later than March 1, 2006. All submissions will be refereed.
