The Centennial Collections Task Force invites all alumni and emeriti to donate historical artifacts and archives to Abilene Christian University.
ACU president Dr. Royce Money has authorized the task force, chaired by professor emeritus of journalism and mass communication Dr. Charlie Marler, to manage the policy-making, collection, preservation and exhibition of ACU artifacts during 2005-06, the Centennial school year.
"Preserving History," an article in the Winter 2004 issue of "ACU Today" magazine, details the work of the task force and the unique opportunity for alumni/emeriti to share their unique legacy with ACU. You can download a PDF of that article from this page, as well as PDFs of a Collection Discovery Form and mailing label for packages you send to ACU.
To eliminate duplication of materials, the following process must be followed for submitting artifacts:
Send the completed Collection Discovery Form to ACU, identifying the items(s) you wish to donate to the university.
The Centennial Collections Task Force will then let you know which artifacts it wishes to accept.
Send the approved artifacts to ACU. Use the mailing label you can download from this page.
