BREAKFAST ON BEECH STREET (B.O.B.S.)

WHAT:  Help set up, prepare and serve breakfast to homeless/lower income folks (and possibly talk with those in attendance.)  Serving time is 6:30 to 7:15 a.m.  Cleanup follows.  You should be out the door NLT 7:30 a.m.
DATE & START TIME:  Any Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & hot cereal clip artFridays at 5:30 a.m.; 
Tuesdays at 5 a.m. (EARLY A.M.)
LOCATION:  First Christian Church on 3rd St. and Beech St.   (Downtown)
NOTE:
  Visit during the daylight so you will know where to go in the dark early a.m.; 
Park at the rear of the building. Ring bell (under handle) on well lit back door; You may wear a baseball cap/bandana for head covering in place of a hair net.

WHAT:  Assist with filling requests for items such as clothing, bedding, kitchen utensils, etc. from the donation center; sorting and organizing donations; occasional need for picking-up donated items.

TIME:   9 a.m., 1 or 5 p.m. (Sometimes EVENING events are held that need volunteers.)
LOCATION:  233 Fannin St. (behind N. 1st Radio Shack)

WHAT:  Deliver hot meals to 12-16 seniors & adults with disabilities each week.

  Various routes in the Abilene community.
