Service Expo

This semester's Service Expo is Thursday, Sept. 3rd and Friday the 4th from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the McGlothlin Campus Center.

One of the quickest and easiest ways to get connected to the community is through service.  To help students connect with and learn about service opportunities at a variety of nonprofit agencies in Abilene (without having to travel all over town), the VSLC hosts a Service Expo at the beginning of each semester.

An estimated 20 agencies will be represented by staff who are ready to talk to students one-on-one about what their organization does and what students can do to become a volunteer.

If you are interested in getting involved in the Abilene community...

the following are some of the agencies that have been a part of Service Expo in the recent past and may be available in the Campus Center during the next Service Expo:

Big Brothers Big Sisters

Boys & Girls Club of Abilene
