Have a heart for service?

Come share that passion with us!

If you are interested in:  planning service projects, serving ACU's neighbors and Abilene community on a weekly basis, and leading your peers to serve, then we want YOU!

Service Action Leadership Team's (SALT) mission is to instill and nurture hearts for service within the ACU family.

By joining SALT

By joining SALT, you can help bring service opportunities to the ACU community while having fun and making great friends!  Some service activities included:  neighborhood walking, visiting the elderly, preparing thanksgiving meals, supporting local agencies, year-end recycling...

SALT's main goal

SALT's main goal is to build relationships through service in order to fulfill our ACU and Christian mission.  We work to establish relationships with the neighborhoods surrounding our campus and with community partners so that, as an ACU community, we may be able to respond to their needs.  Members must be actively committed to developing a personal lifestyle of service, as well as being dedicated to engaging others in service.

As a member of SALT

As a member of SALT, you will be able to choose a ministry team to join.

The following are the specific ministry teams you can choose from and examples of service you might do on each team.  Please be in prayer for which ministry team you would like to work with this year.
