If you love kids and want to make a difference in a child's life this year, join ACU's Wildcat Kids, a 25+ year tradition!
Wildcat Kids' mission is to provide a fun, supportive community to ACU Bigs and provide free monthly events for Bigs and Littles to attend together.
If you want to make a difference in a child's life this year, join ACU's Wildcat Kids! You'll become a Big (a mentor) through Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Texas (BBBS) and also become a member of ACU's Wildcat Kids student organization. BBBS matches each ACU Wildcat Kid member with a child that needs a positive role model to look up to.
While you can join BBBS as a Big without being a part of Wildcat Kids, Wildcat Kid membership offers a few extra things. Together, you and your Little will attend free monthly Wildcat Kids activities set up by the ever-inventive ACU Wildcat Kid committee. (You'll skate, you'll trick-or-treat, you'll sing Christmas carols, you'll play at the park... ) You'll get the chance to know and be supported by other ACU Bigs. And you'll have year-round training and support through the Wildcat Kid committee, special chapel guests and fellow Bigs.
ACU Wildcat Kids is a full one-year commitment. As a member, you commit to mentoring a child, to attending the monthly ACU Wildcat Kids activity with them (usually on Monday nights), and to spend at least four hours a month (equalling 2-4 visits) with your Little having fun, supporting them and just being YOU!
