Our Mission

To engage ACU students in developing service involvement as a lifestyle while meeting the needs of others in the Abilene and surrounding community.

To do this the VSLC:

• Guides students' involvement in service activities both on and off campus.
• Trains, orients and assists in planning and implementing volunteer, service and service-learning projects.
• Helps students, faculty and staff find ways to serve others.
• Partners with the faculty to enhance course work through service-learning opportunities.
• Documents student involvement in community service for their Student Service Records.
