Director of Public Relations

Lynne (Dampier) Bruton is the director of public relations.

Born in Morristown, N.J., Bruton also lived in Georgia, Missouri and Oklahoma before graduating from Kingwood High School in Kingwood, Texas. She attended ACU for three semesters but graduated from Texas A&M University in 1988 with a degree in public relations.

Since graduating, Bruton has worked in the public relations field in hospitals in Houston and agencies in Houston, Mississippi, and Tennesee. She moved from San Antonio to Abilene in August of 2006.

Bruton is married to Kirk, and they have three children - Clint, Dale and Alys.
