Writer/Editor

Wendy (Waller) Kilmer is a writer/editor for ACU.

Originally from North Richland Hills, Wendy earned her B.S. in Journalism from ACU in 2001. During her time at ACU, she served as staff writer and assignments editor of the Optimist, a member of GATA women's social club, a steering committee member for Welcome Week, publicity director for Sing Song, and steering committee member for Stream Abilene.

After graduation, Wendy worked at the Keller Citizen, a community newspaper in Keller, and she served as Director of Public Relations at ACU for five years. She also has a graduate certificate in conflict resolution and a master's degree in communication, both from ACU. She is married to Scott Kilmer ('01) and they have a son, Casen.
