Signage

ADA requirements specify strict guidelines about sign size, fonts and font size, colors, and placement of signage. ACU's new interior signage system meets these requirements and replaces existing signage or serves as original signage for newly constructed or renovated campus facilities.

This signage must be installed in new and renovated facilities. Building supervisors are encouraged to replace non-compliant interior signage. Engraved "blade-style signs" above doors and signs mounted directly on doors do not comply with ADA. All rooms must be identified with at least a sign indicating an assigned room number.

For more information regarding signage, please see the ACU Communication Guide and Stylebook.
