Advertising

ACU has a limited institutional advertising budget managed by the Office of Marketing and Public Relations.

This office contracts for a one-year advertising schedule at the beginning of each budget year in such publications as the Abilene Reporter-News, Abilene Magazine, Christian Chronicle, Private Colleges & Universities, and Campus Life. Because we generally buy several ads in a publication each year, departments may save money by contacting this office about taking advantage of these volume discounts.

Personnel, departmental and event-specific ads are paid for by the departments or offices who request them. They are created for a nominal fee by graphic designers in Creative Services. Creative Services usually sends the ads to the publications electronically. Customers have the opportunity to proofread ads before they are sent. Most ads can be paid for with your ACU Purchase Card. If that's not possible, a P.O. number will be required before the ad is submitted.

Creative Services (Ext. 2690) is the initial contact for advertising. A request form for all advertising or publication work is available in the Creative Services office, located in the Vanderpool Building at 1718 Campus Court.
