One Act Play

Online certification of advancing plays must be completed by midnight Monday, April 28.

Note: Since each district may qualify two singles and two teams to Regional Tournament, entries must show individual scores of both teams and individuals qualifying from the district meet.

Athletic and Academic
The objective of alternate procedure is to fill all vacancies and to prevent no-shows.
Alternates must have placed runner-up in district or area competitions. If runner-up finisher is not able to compete, then the next place finisher will be eligible to take the runner-ups place at the regional competition.
Local school official is responsible for notifying the District Director of any contestant unable to attend the regional competition, as well as for contacting the appropriate alternates.The District Director will then notify the Regional Director regarding the changes.
No-shows should be avoided if all possible. The Regional Director will send a list of absent contestants to the state office.
There will no refund of entry fees in the case of a withdrawal or no-show.
Academic Team Substitutions
If a member of a school's team is unable to compete, only one substitution may be made. If more than one member of a team is unable to compete, the alternate team will advance, following regular alternate procedure.
FEES - only ONE check to the regional director for Academic, Tennis, and Golf. Track and One-Act Play will be separate checks.

The One-Act Play payment will be due upon arrival at the venue of the Regional contest. The track entry fees check will need to be received by Thursday, April 23, 2015. Academic, Tennis, and Golf entry fees will need to be received by Friday April 10, 2015.

Check the entry fee information page on this website to see the totals for the Academic, One-Act Play, Tennis, Golf, and Track. The general fee is academics is $13 per contestant per event entered. The fee for boys and girls track and field is $2,080. Exceptions are One Act Play ($600 per play), Team Competitions ($20 per team) except Computer Science team ($35 per person), LD Debate ($24 per contestant), and Golf ($55 green fee plus basic fee per contestant). Tennis is $20 per contestant.
