Membership 


Facility Access 

Only ACU students, faculty/staff and their spouses/dependents, and other affiliate members are eligible to use the SRWC during regularly scheduled hours. To use the SRWC without parental supervision, a family member must be 18 years or older and must fill out an ACU Affiliate Membership Form and deliver it to the Member Services Desk. Dependents under the age of 18 are only allowed to use the SRWC during Family Time and must be signed-in and accompanied by a parent at all times. 

Family Time

Fall & Spring: 
Saturday: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sunday: 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Summer: 
M-F: 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.,
Saturday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Dependents (under 18) of Faculty/Staff and Affiliate Members must be signed-in and supervised at all times. The Pool, Gymnasiums, Racquetball Courts and Track will be made available to all. Those under 18 years of age are not permitted to use the Fitness Center (Weights & Cardiovascular Equipment), Bouldering Wall and/or Group Fitness Studios at any time.

Students 

All current ACU Students who are assessed a student activity fee are members of the SRWC, however, all students must complete an SRWC Membership/Waiver Form in order to access the facility.

Faculty/Staff and Family  

Faculty/Staff may purchase a family membership by completing an SRWC Membership/Payroll Deduction Form. Dependents who are 18 - 25 years old may use the facility without parental supervision but must complete an ACU Affiliate Membership Form to be granted access. Those dependents under 18 years of age will only have access during Family Time and must be accompanied by a parent.

Membership Fees 

Faculty/Staff & Family Membership -- $20.00 per month (Payroll Deduction Only)

Payroll Deduction  

To be eligible for payroll deduction, the Faculty/Staff member must be employed by ACU on a full-time or part-time basis. All new members are responsible for paying for their membership by completing the online SRWC Membership/Payroll Deduction Form to begin payroll deductions. The Payroll Deduction Form provides the SRWC with the authorization to withhold the monthly membership fee from each monthly or bi-weekly paycheck until the member cancels his or her membership in writing or is terminated. The membership fee that is deducted from each paycheck pays for the following month of membership.

Family Time  

Family Time is a designated time for Faculty/Staff and Students to visit the SRWC with their dependents. In order for dependents to be admitted to the SRWC, the member must sign them in using the designated binder at the Member Services Desk. While visiting the SRWC, dependents must be accompanied by the member who signed them in. 

Note: Dependents may only be signed in by a member who is a Parent or Grandparent. (No exceptions apply including: siblings, babysitters, uncles/aunts, cousins, etc.)

Family time is currently offered at the following times: 

Fall & Spring: 
Saturday: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sunday: 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Summer: 
M-F: 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.,
Saturday: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Adjunct Professor Membership  

ACU Adjunct Professors may become members of the SRWC by visiting the Member Services Desk and completing an ACU ACU Affiliate Membership Form and Waiver.

The Adjunct Professor membership is $100 per semester (fall, spring, and summer) and must be paid in cash, check, or credit card at the SRWC Member Services desk. Emeriti members will use their ACU I.D. Card to access the SRWC.

Alumni 

Membership is available to anyone who has ever completed at least one full academic semester at ACU. 

Family Membership

  • $180 per term
  • Children and grandchildren may only use the SRWC during family time.
  • Members must sign-in children and grandchildren under 18 at the Member Services Desk before entering.
  • Children and grandchildren under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or grandparent at all times and are not permitted to use the fitness center or bouldering wall. 
  • Dependents age 18-25 may use the facility during regular SRWC hours by acquiring an Alumni ID at the The Depot and filling out an Affiliate Membership Application.

Individual Membership

  • $120 per term
  • May only be used by the individual who purchases the membership.
  • May use the SRWC during regular SRWC hours.  

2013 Membership Terms

  • Spring: January 2 - May 11
  • Summer: May 12 - August 24
  • Fall: August 25 - December 20

Steps to Acquire an Alumni Membership 

To enjoy the benefits of an alumni membership:

  1. Visit the depot and obtain an ACU Alumni ID.
  2. Visit the SRWC Member Services Desk to fill out an ACU Affiliate Membership Form, complete an SRWC Membership/Waiver Form, and purchase your membership.

Emeriti Membership  

ACU Emeriti may become members of the SRWC by visiting the Member Services Desk and completing an ACU Affiliate Membership Form and Waiver.

The Emeriti membership is $100 per semester (fall, spring, and summer) and must be paid in cash, check, or credit card at the SRWC Member Services desk.

Emeriti who have purchased a membership will be eligible to have an ACU I.D. Card made at The Depot in the McGlothlin Campus Center. Emeriti members will use their ACU I.D. Card to access the SRWC.

Student's Spouse  

A spouse of an ACU student is eligible for SRWC membership. To purchase a membership, the student's spouse should visit the Member Services Desk and complete an ACU Affiliate Membership Form & Waiver. After completing these forms, the new member should visit The Depot located in the McGlothlin Campus Center to make an ACU I.D. card. Student's Spouse Members will use their ACU I.D. card to access the SRWC.

The Student's Spouse Membership is $100 per semester (fall, spring, and summer) and must be paid in cash, check, or credit card at the SRWC Member Services desk. Those who have purchased a Student's Spouse membership may use the center at any time and may bring dependents during family time.
