Why the Spiritual Life Core exists?

The purpose of the SLC student organization is to contribute to the spiritual formation of ACU students by encouraging and challenging them in their faith as disciples of Jesus Christ.
What the Spiritual Life Core does?
:
The mission of the SLC is to provide an environment in which students can mature in their faith, and develop and utilize their spiritual leadership gifts to glorify God on the ACU campus.
Realizing that members of the SLC are spiritual leaders on the ACU campus, each is committed to:

be an active member of a local church;

uphold the policies set forth in the ACU Student Guide;

maintain a standard of excellence in their academic pursuits;

serve as a positive influence in Chapel, and acquire the minimum number of required attendance credits per semester;

maintain a respectful attitude toward people with beliefs differing from their own.
