About Student Ministries
Spiritual Life & Student Ministries (SLSM) organizes gatherings and experiences that assist students as they seek to grow in Christ. Student Ministries has developed resources based on Henri Nouwen's article Moving from Solitude to Community to Ministry to serve as guides for solitude and community experiences. These are available to all members of the ACU community. During the school year, the Office of Student Ministries produces a monthly devotional guide, the Daily Bread. The Office of Student Ministries is available for prayer and pastoral care.
Jen Rogers, Director of Student Ministries, serves as advisor for on-campus, student-led ministries where student leaders seek to encourage their peers in the daily process of spiritual formation. Student Ministries sponsors short-term mission experiences through Spring Break Campaigns and Weekend Campaigns. It partners with student organizations Fair Trade ACU, the Wishing Well, and TOMS to bring global awareness about concerning the needs of the 'least of these' throughout the world and how our purchases impact others.
Spiritual Life & Student Ministries hosts “Meet the Churches” at the beginning of each semester, networking with local campus ministers and congregations to encourage student attendance, participation and development of relationships with local church families.
