Service-Learning for Students
Benefits of Service-Learning
A study conducted to explore service-learning found that it has positive effects on:
- academic performance (especially in writing)
- values
- self-efficacy
- leadership
- life-long service
The discussions created by service are powerful components in students' lives, and in some cases greatly influence students' choice of career.
