Federal Parent PLUS Loan:
Parents of dependent students may apply for a Federal PLUS Loan. This loan can be used to supplement other financial aid awarded to a student, such as the Federal Stafford Loan. Repayment of the Federal PLUS Loan is not deferrable. Parents must begin repayment 60 days after the entire loan has been disbursed. Check with your lender for options to postpone payments if financial difficulties arise.
