General Information:
- Barret Living and Learning Hall houses sophomore women in pods A, B and C and sophomore men in pod D. An additional application process is required for students interested in Barret.
- Barret's staff consists of a full-time Residence Director, 2 part-time Assistant Directors, 4 Resident Assistants, and desk managers.
- RAs are student leaders who help students make a smooth transition from their sophomore to junior year by helping them in various aspects of their college development.
- Barret Hall contains a "smart" classroom with state-of-the-art technology and a coffee shop, known as "The Den," in the center of the first floor.
- An emergency phone is located on the southwest corner of the building.

Room and Lobby Areas:
- Barret Hall offers wireless connectivity.
- Each room comes with the following: 2 extra-long twin beds, 2 dressers, 2 desks, 2 closets, and bathroom (with vanity, toilet and tub/shower). Other items include: 1 phone line, voice mail service (answering machines are not needed), cable, and 2 Ethernet connections. All furniture provided in the rooms cannot be removed.
- Barret contains 22 community spaces, each with TV and DVD player, upholstered furniture, and table and four chairs.
- Males and females are allowed to meet together in The Den at all times but are not allowed in the residence hall rooms (except during assigned visitation times).
