Residency Policy

Abilene Christian University is a residential university requiring single students to live on campus during their first two years (four long semesters). To live off-campus, students must obtain permission from Residence Life Education and Housing.

Students automatically eligible to live off campus are:

• Students living with parents.
• Students taking fewer than 12 hours.
• Students 21 years of age before the beginning of the fall semester or students who have been out of high school for at least two years.
• Students who have lived four long semesters in residence halls.
