2. What are important dates for my student to remember?

Fall

                                               i.     September 18-19: Freshman Follies

                                             ii.     October 12-16^th: Midterms Week

                                            iii.     November 13^th: Last day to withdraw from a class

                                            iv.     November 25-27^th: Thanksgiving Break

                                             v.     December 8-11^th: Finals Week

                                            vi.     December 12^th at 12:00 pm: Residence Halls close

Spring

                                               i.     January 9^th: Residence Halls open

                                             ii.     January 11^th: First day of classes

                                            iii.     March 15-19^th: Spring Break

                                            iv.     April 30^th: Last day to withdraw from a class

                                             v.     May 4-7^th: Finals Week

                                            vi.     May 8^th at 12:00 pm: Residence Halls close

 What is your overnight guest policy?

          In order to preserve our hall community for the students, we prefer that parents make arrangements to stay off-campus during their overnight visits to Abilene.  If a sibling wants to stay in the hall with their brother or sister, they must be 16 years or older. Any overnight guest may stay for a maximum of two nights.
