I worked in Res life at ACU from 2008-2009 as the Residence Director of Gardner Hall. Good times were had by all. I had a large staff of 11 girls, just one short of Jesus’ staff. I learned that people are people and everyone has a different story. Loving all people is something you must work at, but it is what we are called to do. During my year in Res life I was challenged and pushed, but formed some of the greatest relationships that still continue today.
Res life got me where I am today. I had the opportunity to obtain my masters degree while I was an RD and now I currently work as the Director of Intramural Sports at ACU. Res Life opened many doors for me and because of my time at ACU my future is bright.
