The primary function of the assistant director role is to use Christ-centered leadership to support, encourage, assist and invest in the RA’s on staff by being an “RA to the RA’s.” In coordination with this function, Assistant Directors Assistant Directors are expected to perform administrative tasks, to the extent of which is decided by the Area Coordinator; however, to solidify your presence in the halls and actively participate in building community within the hall, Assistant Directors are expected to regularly engage residents and contribute to their growth process in the residence halls.
