With the opening of the Wildcat Disc Golf course in the spring of 2009 at Sherrod Residential Park on campus, Abilene Christian now has a great new resource on hand. The department of Residence Life Education and Housing has taken upon itself to host what will hopefully be the first of many annual ResLife Open disc golf tournaments.
The tournament is schedule for Saturday November 7th 2009 with start times at 10:00, 12:30, and 3:00. The tournament will have three divisions: mixed, women's, and men's with the latter being flighted into championship and consolation branches. The tournament is played scramble, meaning with partners using the best shot between the two, and will be 18 holes. The cost is $5 per person for ACU students and $10 per person for the non-ACU students/the public. Sign-up fee guarantees a ResLife open t-shirt up to the first 50 people to sign up.
