Request a Transcript

How to Submit a Request
The Transcript Request Form is an on-line form which may be completed and printed. The form also has instructions for faxing the completed form to our office. It may also be delivered by mail or in person.

  • Because ACU requires a full, written signature for the release of transcripts for current or former students, requests by phone or email will not be accepted.
  • A Transcript Request Form  must be completed for each destination for a transcript. For example, if you need to send a transcript to two different locations, two Transcript Request Forms must be filled out.
  • Normally, transcripts are sent directly from ACU to the employer or institution that needs the transcript. However, in some cases, the transcript may be sent to the student and then given to the employer or institution. All transcripts issued to a student will be stamped "Issued to Student."
  • If the transcript is to be picked up by someone else, we must have a written release including your signature. The Transcript Request Form provides a place to do this.
  • All financial obligations to the university must be cleared before an official transcript is issued.
  • Students who left ACU without completing the federally-required Stafford Exit Counseling must do so before a transcript can be released. Scroll to the bottom of the Stafford Loan page (under "The Last Steps") to complete this process.

Processing Time
Transcript requests are normally processed for delivery within two business days, but during peak periods (such as the beginning and end of semesters), processing times could be longer.

Fees
There is no fee for regular transcript processing.
